Porta Negra was founded in Miami in 2016 by a husband-and-wife team José Almirall and Laura Salom. Together they bring beautiful designs, craftsmanship, and construction expertise under one roof. What began as a shared vision to flip old homes in Miami has grown into a full-service design-build firm known for its transparency, attention to detail, and timeless design.

 

Since its inception, Porta Negra has completed numerous custom homes and renovations in Miami, South Miami, Pinecrest, Coral Gables, City of Miami, Palmetto Bay. Through its two divisions—Porta Negra Design & Build, serving private clients, and Porta Negra Homes, focused on high-end development projects for sale.
